An Awesome Exchange
Good morning!
Today, I would like to share with you an awesome story which I recorded using Flipgrid. In this case, it was to an educational collaborative project worldwide called The World is My Audience. It´s simple, you just record a video sharing a story about your life.
From my point of view, Flipgrid is a platform which allows you several options. For instance, as a teacher you could record to yourself explaining an activity or even asking your students any topic. In this way, they would answer you through this tool while they are improving their listening, speaking, reading and writing as well.
On the other hand, each teacher has the chance to share ideas, educational projects or any experience at schools in order to enrich and support to another teachers. Only then, it grows as a person. Remember: "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together" African Proverb.
Personally, I explained an international exchange which I did 3 years ago through my university with a Belgian girl. Firstly, she came to Madrid and three monts after, I went to Belgium. Thanks to this experience, I realised the importance of English. Because of ther mother tongue is French and my mother tongue is Spanish, we spoke in English everyday. As you can see, I recorded a video showing several memories from Belgium because to my mind, sometimes it´s difficult to imagine a story which someone is telling you.
In conclusion, this educational project is fantastic, because it allows you to connect with people from different countries. In fact, you develop your English skills while you are learning.
