STORYBOARD

Pluto´s Dream

Good evening!

Today, I would like to show you a fable called Pluto´s dream. I created it with Storyboard, a fantastic tool to design comics or stories. As you can imagine, you have lots of layouts and possibilities. Have you already designed your story? Come on! Time flies!

As you can see, I designed six scenes in 2x3 format and I created a fable because through it, we trasmit and teach values such as: friendship, perseverance, loyalty, empathy etc.

This fable tells us about a little dog, called Pluto, who dreams with a better life. In addition, his family doesn´t want him due to his age. However, some friends (a duck, a chicken, a rabbit and a panda) help and encourage him. In fact, some of them have another problems and try to look for a solution all together. To sum up, the moral of this fable is thanks to your friends´support, you could overcome any difficulty

From my point of view, I would start my lessons with a fable. In this way, I would work Emotional Intelligence which should be taught in every school. Besides, it´s focused on first grade of Primary Education. Nevertheless, it never goes out of fashion to reflect on a story and work on values. Therefore, it doesn´t matter if you design a fable for fifth or sixth of Primary Education, if and when you adapt the vocabulary and content.

In conclusion, the main goal of this storyboard is to teach the meaning of friendship and to raise awareness of the animal care to the students. In fact, it´s a different and original way to introduce a unit. Moreover, the future purpose of this creation is to make a video about this fable.

This is my storyboard: Pluto´s dream.
